We had demonstrated that the use of D2 Youth Factor from Dendrobium plants significantly reduced the generation of oxidative radicals in inflammatory conditions, such as pancreatitis and pulmonary injury, in vivo. D2 Youth Factor can reduce protein oxidation and lipid peroxidation, and attenuate NADPH oxidase activity and the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS).

A 4-week human skin trial has been done by a third party in Singapore. From the trial results, the skin whiteness has a significant increase in 2 weeks. After 4 weeks, the average skin brightness (ITA° value) from all volunteers has increased by 6.35%. The average skin melanin index (MI index) from the half faces applied with D2 Youth Factor has significantly decreased while the MI index from the half faces applied placebo has increased. This implied that D2 Youth Factor has a promising skin-whitening effect.
No Skin Irritation
In our cellular experiment, D2 Youth Factor showed lower cytotoxicity to the human cell when compare to other commonly used active ingredients. From the feedback of our customers, no irritation has been reported from the usage of the cosmeceutical products containing D2 Youth Factor on the human skin. Hence, our products can be applied on any skin type.
